Ingredients

1 1/2 cups kosher dill pickle chips and patted dry with paper towels

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tsp. Cajun seasoning

1 tsp. smoked paprika

1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1/4 tsp. black pepper

1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

1/2 cup buttermilk

1 large egg

Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Heat oil to 375 F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a medium sized bowl mix together the flour and spices. Set aside.

In another bowl combine the buttermilk and egg.

Coat pickles in flour and then dip pickles into buttermilk mixture, shake off excess.

Coat the pickles in flour a second time and shake off any excess flour.

Place pickles on the prepared baking sheet.

Carefully put the pickles in the hot oil and cook until golden brown.

Place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serve the fried pickles immediately with your choice of dipping sauce!

Enjoy! 😉
