Spicy Sausage Mac N Six Italian Cheese.. care to join me?

1 lb. macaroni noodles
1 lb. Italian bulk sweet sausage
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. Butter
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. Pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. Dried Oregano
1/2 tsp. Dried Basil
1/2 cup sliced white button mushrooms
Coarse ground pepper
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 cup heavy cream
2 1/2 cups shredded Italian 6 cheese blend
1 can diced tomatoes, drained well
2 tsp. hot sauce
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In large pot bring water to a boil. Add salt to water when boiling and then add the Macaroni noodles and cook until al dente.
In a medium skillet cook bulk Italian sausage (crumble meat) until no longer pink.
Drain the cooked sausage on plate lined with paper towel to absorb excess grease.
In same pan and add the olive oil, butter, garlic and mushrooms.
Season with salt and pepper.
Sauté the mushrooms approx. 3-5 minutes.
To mushrooms whisk in flour and cook for 2 minutes and then stir in cream. Bring cream to a bubble and then stir in two cups of 6 Italian cheese blend. When cheese has melted into sauce add in the tomatoes and pepper flakes. When sauce comes to a bubble remove from heat.
Combine cheese sauce with the sausage and pasta and transfer to a 9x14 baking dish or casserole dish.
Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of 6 cheese blend and the grated parmesan over the top and cook for 20-25 mins.
Sprinkle with parsley!
