Not to be Cheesy but you're Bacon me Crazy..

Gruyere Cheddar Parmigiana Bacon Mac N Cheese! Care to Join me? 😜



Ingredients 6 slices of bacon

1 pound macaroni noodles

1 stick unsalted butter

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp. mustard powder

4 cups whole milk

1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

1 1/2 panko breadcrumbs

1/2 tsp garlic

3/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper

1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

2 cup Gruyere cheese

1 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

3 cups cheddar cheese


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

In large pot of salted boiled water cook macaroni noodles to al dente.

In large skillet fry bacon until crispy and set aside.

Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat.

Whisk in flour and cook until golden.

Pour in milk and whisk and then add the mustard, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper.

Let simmer until it thickens.

Remove from heat and whisk in the Cheddar, Gruyere, and Parmesan cheeses. Continue

whisking until melted. Stir in the mac noodles and transfer to baking dish.

In small pan melt butter and add Panko crumbs and garlic and mix.

Sprinkle mixture over the Mac noodles and season with more ground pepper.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Garnish with the bacon pieces on top!
