Ingredients

4 pears peeled and sliced thin

1/4 cup raw sugar

1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

1/2 stick melted butter

2 tsp. ground cinnamon

cheddar cheese(optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together in small bowl.

Lay out the puff pastry sheet on baking pan lined with parchment paper. Cut it evenly into 6 square pieces. Poke holes throughout with fork then brush evenly with the melted butter.

Sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the sliced pears over the puff pastry, 4 slices each. Sprinkle tops of pear tarts with remaining cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake until pastry is golden and cooked through, about 20 to 25 minutes.

Remove the tart from oven and sprinkle with cheese. Place back in oven just until cheese melts approx. 5 more minutes!

Enjoy! 😉
