I want a “Pear” of these! You can’t eat just one!
Pomegranate Poached Bosc Pears

Ingredients
3 firm Bosc pears
1 tbsp. butter
1 cup Pinot Noir wine
1 cup pomegranate juice
1/4 cup plus 1 tsp. real maple syrup, divided
1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
3 tbsp. Sour Cream
2 tsp. lemon zest
Instructions
Prepare pears by peeling, cut in halves and core them. Set aside. Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium to high heat. Place the pears in skillet cut sides down. Cook until browned, approx. 10-15 minutes. Add the Pinot Noir, 1/4 cup maple syrup, vanilla, pomegranate juice, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Cover and simmer until tender, about 15 minutes. Remove skillet from heat and allow to cool slightly. In a small bowl stir together the Greek yogurt, sour cream, and 1 tsp. maple syrup. Spoon over pears and garnish with the lemon zest.
Enjoy! 😉
