I’m pretty sure Humphrey Bogart never had Pork Chops like this!

Italian Style Pork Chops


6 pork chops, boned and approx. 1 inch thick

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

2 cup Italian breadcrumbs

1 cup Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp. Italian seasoning

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

2 tsp. garlic powder

4 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped

4 tbsp. olive oil


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a medium bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. of the pepper.

In a separate small bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, 2 tbsp. parsley and the remaining salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-proof skillet over medium heat.

Dip the pork chops into the egg mixture, then into the bread crumb mixture, coating each one evenly. Place coated pork chops in the skillet, and brown approx. 5-6 minutes on each side. Place pork chops in oven and allow to cook for additional 30 mins. Remove from oven and allow to rest before slicing into them. Garnish with remaining fresh parsley.
