I’m about to WRAP up this camping adventure!
Brown Sugar and Honey Sausage Egg Wrap
1 package Johnsonville Brown Sugar and Honey sausage links
4 large eggs
3 large tortillas
1 cup mild cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. Butter
2 whole scallions, chopped
Pinch red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper, to taste
Sour cream and hot sauce (optional)
In a deep cast-iron or other heavy skillet place sausage in pan and cook uncovered, over medium heat until completely cooked, about 20 minutes, turning only once. Remove from skillet and cut sausage into small pieces. Set aside. Add butter and the beaten eggs into same skillet along with scallions and red pepper flakes. Cook until completely done. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly on tortillas. Next add the scrambled eggs and sausage pieces on tortillas. Fold over like a taco and place on grill for just a few seconds both sides until cheese melted.
Serve with sour cream and hot sauce if desired.
