I love EVERYTHING about Chocolate and I love EVERYTHING Spicy.. So why not just combine the two! 😜
Spicy Mexican Chocolate Fudge
1 pound semi-sweet chocolate , chopped
3 tbsp. butter
1 14 oz. can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tsp. Dried espresso
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
Fill a saucepan with water, about 2-inches deep and bring to a simmer.
In a mixing bowl, one that is larger than the saucepan, combine chopped chocolate, butter, sweetened condensed milk and dried espresso .
Set the mixing bowl over the simmering water, making sure that the bowl does not touch the water.
Stirring frequently, cook until chocolate is melted and completely smooth.
Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, chili powder, pinch of salt and cayenne pepper.
Remove from heat and pour into the prepared pan.
Sprinkle with a bit more sea salt and chill in the fridge for 4 hours. For best results, chill over night.
Cut into squares and serve.
