Ingredients
16 oz. package ready to bake pizza dough
Egg wash (1 egg whisked with 1 tbsp water)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. Garlic salt
16 oz. package shredded mozzarella
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. grated Parmesan
1 tbsp. basil
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. chopped rosemary
Marinara sauce warmed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
On a floured surface stretch and roll dough into a long rectangle then cut dough into 2” squares (approx. 33 squares).
Place approximately 1 tsp. of shredded mozzarella on middle of square and pull each corner end up around cheese until covered and roll into sealed ball.
Place balls seam-side down on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (they should be touching). Brush egg wash on dough balls and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
Whisk together melted butter, Parmesan, pepper, garlic salt and herbs. Brush on baked pizza balls. Serve warm with marinara for dipping.
Enjoy! 😉
