Hands Down Mouth-Watering Beef Kabobs!
Half Baked Beef Kabobs
Ingredients for the Kabobs
1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 orange bell pepper, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 large red onion, peeled, cut into 1 inch pieces
Fresh pineapple, skin trimmed, cut into chunks
Ingredients for the Marinade
1 tsp. black pepper, plus more
2 tsp. coarse salt, plus more
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. Sesame oil
1/2 tsp. Red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. Brown sugar
1 tbsp. Soy sauce
1 tbsp. Mustard
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. Chili powder
In a large bowl, add beef, salt and pepper and toss until the meat is coated. Add the rest of marinade ingredients to the bowl and toss until well coated. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour. (If using wooden skewers soak in water for at least 30 mins. prior to grilling).
Thread the beef, peppers, onions and pineapple onto the skewers. Brush each skewer with remaining marinade. Heat grill to medium high heat and preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the kabobs onto the grill and turn every 2-3 mins until nicely seared.
Remove and place Kabobs on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with aluminum foil and cook them for additional 10 mins. in oven.
