Cauliflower substitutes the most delicious foods in life!

You know.. like Rice, Mashed Potatoes and Chicken! Yeah you heard it correct.. CHICKEN! 😜

Spicy Baked Buffalo Cauliflower with Homemade Ranch Sauce


Ingredients

1 head of cauliflower (approx. 4 cups of florets)

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. Onion powder

1 tsp. Cumin

1 tsp. Smoked paprika

1/4 tsp. Kosher salt

1/4 tsp. Freshly ground pepper

1/2 cup Frank's red hot sauce

1 tbsp. butter, melted

1/2 tbsp. Lemon juice

Ingredients for Homemade Ranch Sauce

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

1/2 tsp. dried parsley

1/2 tsp. dried chives

1/4 tsp. onion powder

1 tsp. garlic powder

1/4 tsp. sea salt

1/4 tsp. finely cracked pepper

Juice of Freshly squeezed lemon, to taste

Instructions for Cauliflower

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Place parchment paper on large baking sheet and set aside.

In a large bowl whisk together the flour, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and smoked paprika in a bowl until batter is smooth. Add cauliflower to batter and toss until evenly coated.

Spread cauliflower onto the baking sheet in a single layer, season with salt and pepper. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, 20 to 25 minutes, flipping over halfway through for even baking.

In separate small bowl whisk together the hot sauce, melted butter and lemon juice until well combined. Brush the buffalo sauce mixture on the cauliflower.

Return to the oven and bake until they start to brown, approx. 15 minutes.

Instructions for Homemade Ranch

In small bowl whisk together the mayo, sour cream and milk until very smooth. Add the spices and whisk until combined. Add the lemon and stir. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Remove cauliflower from oven and serve hot with the homemade ranch sauce.
