Bringing a Bit of France to your Table
Homemade Sourdough Herb de Provence Croutons
1 loaf crusty rustic bread, cut into cubes (such as French, Italian, or Sourdough)
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. Onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp. Herb de Provence
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place bread cubes in large bowl and set aside. Line baking sheet lined with parchment paper. In small bowl whisk together the olive oil, melted butter, onion powder, garlic powder, kosher salt, pepper and Herb de Provence.
Pour the mixture over the bread crumbs and toss until well combined.
Spread the bread cubes out in single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden, turning once halfway, to brown all sides of the croutons.
Remove from oven, and let cool completely.
Serve with soup or salad!
